Maritza Guaman, Chef, started with us from the very start of our hotel. In approximately the year 2000, she replaced a chef that was retiring, for us, and has stayed in the position ever since. With her expertise and growth during the years she leads our award-winning team of culinary experts at the Hotel Silberstein.

This is the result of anthropological research that dates back to the era of the Galapagos Islands colonization. We bring forward a menu that combines different techniques, unique forms of preparation, and distinguished presentation of dishes that maintain the avant-garde touch of the chef.
